Soon, Gorchakov begins to understand that the story of the musician is part of his own: he feels like a stranger in Italy, but he can't return home. The hero is seized by a painful numbness, and his homesickness becomes a true disease... The film is dedicated to the memory of the director's mother, Maria Ivanovna Vishnyakovaya.
