The locals know that his name is Nikola Pirosmani and that he is a kind-hearted, honest man, but no one takes his artwork seriously. Nikola opens up a food stand in order to earn some money to buy paints, but soon comes to ruin because he gives away his meat and cheese to people who have no money. Pirosmani paints his last picture as an homage to those who are poor and sick, and it is a painting full of color, joy and love for life.
