But life is monotonous and boring in this Russian backwoods, so he decides to set out for Petersburg, to visit his elder brother who is doing well there and might help him start a new life. Upon his arrival to Petersburg, Danila discovers that his brother is indeed doing well, working as a contract killer. Once filled with good intentions, Danila finds himself slipping deeper and deeper into a world of crime and betrayal.
